- JJJoeMay 9, 20263.0Let me start by saying that Gemma is a star. So warm, so professional and really well experienced at what she does. However, aside from Gemma’s efforts I do have to say that I’ve found the selling experience with Haart to be mildly disappointing. We had our flat valued independently by Haart at between 170-180K and after what was a really strong-sounding sales pitch, nearly 9 months later - we’ve now decided to remove it from the market after practically zero interest. In this whole time we had one offer that was withdrawn after a few short weeks without any clear explanation as to why. The feedback from nearly every viewing was that the potential buyers were ‘no longer answering the phone’ which after 5, 6, 7 separate occasions does tend to become slightly concerning? We received a lot of comments about the state of the current market, but when other very similar properties are seen to sell in a few short weeks - you do begin to question if that is really the case. All in all, really lovely people - but essentially the job that needed to be done (with every change made our end to help the sale) wasn’t and now we feel we’re stuck without any options to move on. Not really the service we’d expected.
